September 26th Community Yard Sale

Got stuff your not using anymore cluttering your home and garage? Need some extra cash to pay off those back to school items?

Join your neighbors on Saturday. September 26th from 7am – 12 pm. Rain date will be on Saturday, October 3rd. Rain date will only occur if it is a complete washout on Saturday. Light rain or drizzle and the sale will go on!

To make it easier for you, the HOA Directors will do the advertising in the local paper and by sign placements at the community entrances. All you have to do is set up your sale items in your driveway or garage. Clairemont HOA will have two large (2′ x 4′) “Community Yard Sale” signs on display the week of the sale.

Town Hall Meeting 6-9-15 – Avondale Development

Come join the Indian Land community on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 from 6:00 – 9:00 PM at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church for a Town Hall meeting discussing a proposed development near your neighborhood. A presentation by Sinacori Builders and ESP Associates engineers to review the proposed site plan, amenities, and traffic changes. The presentation will be followed by a question and answer session. We encourage you to attend to learn about the project, voice any concerns, and provide feedback.

A brief overview about the proposed project:

  • 180 acre site area
  • Relocation of a portion of Calvin Hall Road and proposed roundabout
  • Zoning change from Business (B-3) & Residential (R-15P) to Planned Development District (PDD)
  • 3 residential villages with 440 single-family lots
  • Multi-family apartments and townhomes area in mixed use village (450 units)
  • Commercial/retail area in mixed use village

Opening Pool Party 2015

This Saturday, May 23rd from 4-7 PM the Clairemont HOA Social Committee will be hosting the pool opening party. Rain date is May 24th.

  • Hot dogs, drinks, chips and dessert will be provided
  • DJ Little K is making a repeat appearance
  • Kids games
  • Cornhole tournament
  • Fun, fun, and more fun

4-18-2015 Palmetto Pride Cleanup

Join your Clairemont neighbors as we clear trash from Highway 160 and Calvin Hall Road.

Saturday April 18, 2015 starting at 8:00am
We will meet at the Clairemont sign on Whittingham Dr. Everyone is invited to attend. Doughnuts and coffee will be provided. Supplies can be picked up that morning.

2015 HOA Annual Meeting

All members of the Clairemont Homeowners Association are notified that the Annual Meeting of the Association for the year 2015 will be held:

April, 8, 2015 at 6:30pm
Check-in for the meeting will begin at 6:00pm
Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church
238 Fort Mill Highway, Indian Land, SC

The purpose of the meeting will be to elect members of the Board of Directors, present the 2015 budget and review accomplishments for 2014 and goals for 2015. There will be two (2) board positions up for election at this meeting, each serving a three-year term and to vote on the proposed bylaw change regarding nominations. The Board is having two guest speakers at the meeting Lancaster Sherriff Barry Faile and Brian Klauk SC Department of Transportation. The meeting may be postponed or continued as provided in the Bylaws of the Clairemont Homeowners Association.

You are invited to attend in person or by proxy.  If you are not able to attend yourself you can designate someone to attend the meeting and vote on your behalf, you can access a copy of the Proxy form here to print and provide to your designee.

2014 Holiday House Decorating Contest

Join in the holiday spirit, decorate your house and/or yard to take part in the Holiday House Decorating Contest.
